TAT-1 and TAT-2 Recruitment; Adviser to Chief Minister as well as Education Secretary and other officials were present in Gandhinagar after the fierce protest of TET and TAT pass candidates. In this meeting, it has been decided to recruit 7500 teachers in the next three months. The Chief Minister asked to give information on this issue in the cabinet meeting.
A cabinet meeting held today in Gandhinagar has taken an important decision to permanently recruit as many as 7,500 teachers in the state’s secondary and higher secondary government and grant-in-aid schools in the next three months.
Permanent recruitment in State Grant-in-Aid Schools will be made on a test basis based on the merit of TAT-Secondary and TAT-Higher Secondary pass candidates. He further said that the recruitment process of TET-1 and TET-2 candidates will also be conducted soon.
Giving further details, Minister Rishikesh Patel said that a total of 3,500 TAT-1 passed candidates will be recruited in secondary i.e. Class 9 and Class 10 government schools out of a total of 500 and 3,000 in grant-in-aid schools. While in higher secondary i.e. class 11 and class 12, 750 in government schools and 3250 in grant-in-ed schools, a total of 4000 candidates of TAT-2 will be recruited.
